I picked Mechanical Engineering for UCSD, and Electrical Engineering for UCSB..if I get into both, which one would be better?

Which are you most interested in?

If you don't mind me asking. What are your stats? are you going to be a freshman or transfer student?

I'm going to be a freshmen, my stats are 2230 SAT with 800 on the math section, and approx 3.9 weighted gpa

And as for interest, I'm actually interested in both types of engineering..just not sure which program is better. However, I do like the UCSB campus alot more.

I'd go to UCSB. Then again, it's my home town.

I'd go to UCSB too. then again. i go here.

but i kno what u mean bout the campus. i liked it better too.

I would choose UCSD over UCSB, unless you're that much more interested in Electrical Engineering.

I would vote UCSD because it is a higher ranked engineering school with many opportunities. My opinion is pretty worthless, thought, because I've never been to UCSB. Be aware that you can change your major to EE at UCSD if you choose it. Also, with high scores, you may be selected for the Jacobs Scholarship, which is a full ride at UCSD.

Nevermind, wrong info
