<p>Out of state accepted at UCSB and UCLA. Also accepted at UMiami with large scholarship($112,000 28K/year),Honors Program, and Foote Fellowship (no required general education courses). I love California ,but UMiami offer is very tempting, especially since I am interested in environmental and marine science , in which they are very strong. I would appreciate anybody's thoughts. Thanks in advance.</p>
<p>If money is a concern to you at all, I’d forget UCLA and UCSB. That is a huge amount of money from Miami, and honestly UC tuition out of state is so much… Plus Miami is a GREAT school ( I think it is only a few spots behind UCSB). With all those perks you’d be getting at Miami, you’d be foolish to turn that down.</p>
<p>Taylor, thank you. Do you go to UCSB? I loved the vibe at UCSB. It seemed very cool. 55K/year out of state tuition is a lot of money plus travel expenses, and I live in Massachusetts. Miami is small and has a nice “family” type of atmosphere whereas UCLA has a great name but doesn’t feel that way at all.</p>
