I just called… Literally all they said was that “decisions should come out by the end of this month, if not sooner.” So nothing new 
maybe someone else can call and maybe we’ll get a more specific answer. I’m getting quite annoyed.
i don’t see how they could accept more people unless some people can’t attend because they failed a course why are they stretching it out so long
I think the reason for the drag is question about educational funding (which is very common annoyance), this is pulled from Ms. Sun’s UC admissions blog:
“According to UC may add only a few hundred students this fall, Napolitano says from the LA Times (June 12, 2015), the implication seems to be that more students will be admitted from the waitlist if California Legislature passes additional funding for the UCs.”
hopefully they pass funding the article says “Realistically, for this fall,” the UC system would be able to add 500 to 600 students, who would be taken off campus wait lists,"
are the 500-600 students being taken off wait lists high school students or transfers?
@genieforuboi so my dad looked online tonight and saw that the bill passed today(!!). Not sure what exactly it says but it’s along the lines that they would be for admitting freshman in-state residence

You need to scroll down to read the part about the UCs, but essentially it says that UC system will be given $25 million if they increase in state enrollment by 5000 students
does the increasing of enrollment affect this year or starting from next year. we should call on monday and ask
