I didnt get anything in my portal :frowning: Congrats to everyone who got in!!!

@genieforuboi The statistics were listed on twitter.

@metalmonk28 can you share the link?

I didnt see it on the twitter. Im hoping they accept more tomorrow

@nattycat66 I definitely think more will come out tomorrow! The first batch of admits came out last Thursday, and they have a week to respond so… We should be hearing back very soon, admitted or rejected.

As it looks increasingly improbable for the UC to release any more waitlist spots I wanted to bring the attention of those were left out to the real issue behind this year’s UC admission policies. Please read the following articles and get your parents to vote and go vote yourself if you are 18 years old.

In one article Jerry Brown had said that he listens to the UC chancellor’s arguments just for
its intellectual curiosity but he is not changing his position. The students are being pawned
for a political fight between the governor and the UC chancellor. He is finding this a form
of entertainment for his intellectual curiosity.

Personally as a parent of a prospective student who is being denied I would settle for the
higher fees as opposed to no admission at all. Why can’t a student with a 4.0 GPA not be
able to get into a UC? Apparently Brown wants to force them to go to community colleges
and State universities with the rational that those are cheaper. He wants human advisors to
be replaced by computers so students can do self advising at no cost. The guy is just out
of touch.
I hope parents step up and get this guy out of office and make a statement.

The reality is that the cost of everything from housing to food has gone up so it is unrealistic to
freeze the cost of a UC tuition.

Well, I guess this is it.

I hope more WL acceptances will come out. If not, then good luck with college and your future plans you guys! Stay positive, work hard and believe in yourself!

My appeal status hasn’t changed either…hoping it’s not the end still.

Any news?

Nothing

Out of curiosity, has anyone heard back saying their appeal was denied or they were rejected based on the waitlist?

I have heard nothing at all.
