Your UC GPA is within range but your ACT will hurt your chances. You need try and retake your ACT and aim for a 28+. Also write some great essays. Right now I would consider it a Low reach. You might want to consider UCI, SDSU, CSULB and CSUF which all have good Kinesiology programs

@Gumbymom‌ thankyou for being a great help!

You’ve got a pretty good chance. Definitely take another swing at the ACT but otherwise I’m sure you have a fair chance.

@DickCheney‌ thankyou :)

your ACT is low for UCSB. Their average score is a 29, and if you’re in state, you pretty much need a 28 or better to even have a chance. If you’re out of state, it might be slightly easier. Right now, you probably have about a 5% chance of admission, but if you bump your score up to a 28, I would give you about a 40-50% chance.
