Ucsb

Ok, so I am a Junior and want to know if my "stats" are good enough to get into UCSB:

School: Miramonte (Top 10 in California)
GPA: 3.6 (3.5 non-weighted)(average strength of classes)
SAT: 1980 (1320 Equivalent)
Sports: 4 year Varsity Tennis (top 15 team in state)
Job: Summer Tennis Job
Charity: None yet (will do this summer)
X-Factor: Lived in England for 10 years

Do you think that is good enough to get into UCSB?

I'd say you're an average applicant, but it's getting tougher to get in. Take the SATs again, you'll almost surely improve. I got in with a lower SAT (1310) but a higher GPA (3.89). Also, when you write your essays, be passionate about something (tennis?) and stress any LEADERSHIP you have.

Thanks alot!
