<p>I’m doubting my letter too because I edited it for some other UCs that I’m appealing to (because their deadline was a couple weeks later) and the revisions make the original look like a freshman wrote it :/</p>

<p>I haven’t. Technically, they have until Saturday to notify us, but one would expect to have heard back sooner than later…I guess all we can do is wait. I’m really leaning on Friday as the day though</p>
<p>On the past appeals page it looked like people who got accepted got it in a day in advance compared to the other students who appealed. Dunno, maybe UCSC just slow/overworked this year. I wrote my appeal solely for UCSC and edited that for UCI but I didn’t send a teacher rec :(.</p>
<p>Last year’s appeal acceptances happened on a Wednesday and rejections on the Thursday. I don’t think either has happened yet this year. I’m freaking out :/</p>
<p>“We have received your appeal for reconsideration. Appeals from freshman applicants will be responded to no later than the week of April 15, 2013. Appeals from transfer applicants will be responded to no later than the week of May 13, 2013.”</p>

Well the good news is, if indeed the accepted are notified first, no one so far (that I know of) has been notified, so we all still have a good standing! Believe people we can do this :D</p>

<p>Yeah, nobody I know of has gotten anything. With the odds, at least one person in this thread likely succeeded, so we’d know from them, I think. Looks like it’ll be tomorrow?</p>
