Does anyone know how to save progress on the appeal page?
@staybased1 You can’t save your progress. You’ll have to type it on something like google doc then copy and paste it when you’re done.

I appealed my admission decision which was wait listed. What are the chances of having a successful appeal for a waitlisted student?
In 2014: 54 admits (half were on waitlist) out of 305 appeals. There is a link somewhere on this site to Ms. Sun’s website with this info.
hey did anyone get a notification/email/change in their portal after they turned in their appeal?
All you get is an email. Not sure about my chances. I haven’t gotten in anywhere so I really hope this appeal comes through or else I go to community college. Here are my stats for those who are curious:
SAT: 1620 (480R 630M 510W)
SAT II: 590 Math Level II
ACT: 26 (25E 28M 27R 24S 8W)
GPA (when I applied): 3.296 Weighted
GPA (now): 3.446 Weighted (I got a 4.0 last semester)
Extracurriculars: 4 years of water polo(varsity two years) and swimming(varsity three years+team captain)
Intended Major: Neuroscience
I tried calling them yesterday and I even contacted my admissions rep because I turned in my appeal 2 days ago but never go in a email saying that it was received so now I think it didn’t go through and it’s too late to turn one in. Should I just keep calling?
@tennisgirl13 I would only call to make sure that they did receive your appeal. I’d have your student ID number on hand so they can find you quickly. You should’ve received an email confirmation. Hope everything goes well!
Yeah they said I missed the deadline, hopefully they accept me off the wait list. Also I heard that you can send in a letter of rec from a counselor if you’re on the wait list and they move you up or something.

I am so scared. I really want to attend UCSC because it has the two majors that i want to graduate with, and I keep checking my portal
