I got into DePaul…underwhelming financial aid
The financial aid from some schools make ya go hmmmmmmmmm… 3 years back got into many schools of choice… aid was terrible. I had a 4.0 out of HS but ended up at UC Merced because they offered me a full scholarship where the others offered me hardly anything. Plan was to go and after a year or 2 transfer out but got ill first year and because of it I lost my scholarship and flunked out. When I say my GPA right know of 3.4 it includes my Fs from Merced. I could have gone back after 2 classes to Merced with no scholarship but chose to save money and went to CC instead. If I don’t get accepted at UCSC or UCI than it’s off to Merced I go to get in good standing with the UC system. the thing is I need to take just CS and not CS game design… so will end up at Merced for around a year and a half, graduate with a degree and try again to enter the 2 UCs that do have my major.
Still nothing for me. Are you guys just refreshing. I’m literally so nervous LOL if I have to wait till April 30th to get a decision, RIP me.
@stressedkid15 Same! Mine is still the same. I’ll be disappointed if I have to wait until the end of April, I was expecting UCSC to be the first one to notify me.
Besides Saturday early mornings I feel we won’t hear anything on weekends. UCSB releases their decisions in a few days and says it will only happen during weekdays. I could be totally wrong though for UCSC!
@astrophilia I applied to UCSB as well and I’m really hoping that I don’t have to wait to hear from that one too.
@Nataliee177 Loll when I reread their email, “…will be posted beginning on March 21 and everyday thereafter until May 1.” I was like, not this agaaiinnn ommmg. Especially because I think freshman applications are out the same day, I’m expecting another wait.
Also, in that sentence it says everyday, but I swore some where I read every week day. Hmm.
Freshman decisions, not applications 
@astrophilia I know! I’m pretty sure all Freshman decisions will be coming out that day and probably very few transfers. I really hope we’re not stuck waiting for SB too. But I sent my TAG there so I’m hoping I’m in the early batches.
