Looking back on last years thread it seemed random, but who knows :\
I don’t get why they don’t have the spring spotlight event later in April since some of us may not even know if we’ve been admitted or not. I think I’ll still try to go, though.
@anthropologeez I was thinking that same thing :\ If I were to get in and it’s late April I would hate to miss it. But if I go and then I don’t get in, huge disappointment. But I thought it was only for admitted students anyway?
@astrophilia I’ve been wanting to meet a certain professor so if I don’t get admitted by spring spotlight I’ll probably just go to the campus on my own time. Hopefully the spring spotlight won’t have anything super crucial for transfers to know…
So is Santa Barbara the next school to put out transfer admissions decisions? I guess I haven’t been paying attention but I thought other than Santa Cruz everyone said “late april.” But I didn’t apply to SB lol so maybe I was paying attention.

Yea SB is next, March 21 and rolling after.
The message on the portal just changed. They took away the time slots and just replaced it with:
“The Office of Admissions has begun posting admission decisions as of March 17, 2017. Admission decisions will continue to be posted on a rolling basis through April 30. Please continue to check for changes to your status here in the portal.”

Last year people were still being admitted in May … with all the money they charge one would think they would hire more skilled readers to read applications. So hang on to your coat tails it could be a long ride.
We can rest till Monday because I don’t think any will be realeased tonight or tomorrow…

Based on the past years, they won’t release another decision until this Thursday, and that pattern will persist for like a month
1 decision per Thursday till all acceptances are disbursed
@erinalisabeth and you have to check continuously because after 10 minutes the status will change back to under review.
