@muchConflicted I actually cannot remember, but when you apply for UCSC, do they allow you to distinguish between applying for the BS and BA version of the CS major? If they did then I think I selected the BS version.
@IndianCSguy I don’t think there is an option bro when i did it. Plus from what i was told by a professor starting this or next year they will not require physics for CS
@SixtyOneBones right in the feels

Personal Statement: I’d like to say these are solid. Lets just leave it at that.
Other:
I’ve explained my grade dip in my application which was due to dire family related circumstances that caused my GPA to drop like a rock at my time at Moorpark College and slightly at EVC. I’ve emphasized that I am now ready to advance my studies at the university level now that my family issues have been resolved in my Personal Statement. At CUNY: NYCCT I had a 3.98 GPA, at Moorpark College I had a 2.93 GPA and my GPA at EVC at the moment is 3.727.(2 semesters done at CUNY: NYCCT, 1 summer session done at CUNY: NYCCT, 1 semester at Moorpark College, 4 semesters at EVC).
@BoredEngineer I think you have a pretty good shot at UCSD, but I honestly don’t know about Berkeley because I have seen people with great academic records and extracurriculars that don’t get in. Berkeley is a mystery… GL on the rest of your schools though!
Hey,
Yeah I’ve been told I’m a bit boderline for CAL because of my GPA but my extra circulars and explanation for that one semester of bad grades will give me a solid chance. On the engineering science website on Cal it says gpas of 3.5 or up “generally do well”. So we’ll see come this April 28th
I was officially accepted at 4am today.
Admitted GPA: 3.57
Major: Latin American & Latino Studies/Sociology

GOOD LUCK!
Last day’s(May 1) notification is for for people who will be rejected??
@Dancingbaby I’m not sure if they have a day just for rejections. They’ve already denied 544+ transfers.
@astrophilia where did you find those numbers?
@shooguu it is on the official website of ucsc
