I haven’t heard anything back… So, I’m just already accepting the fact I did not get in.
I believe that the most if not all the decisions have already been made. They’re releasing both denials and acceptances on a rolling basis. So keep your head!!!

@ClimbingGirl A LOT of students were accepted in April based on last years thread. I wouldn’t worry quite yet. people got accepted all the way through April regardless of having a higher or lower GPA
Accepted! Keep checkin’ your portals, folks, I didn’t get an update email. I literally got the invitation to the Facebook admits page, so I checked my portal.

My GPA very low, only 3.00. I feel scared
I still haven’t heard either…computer science major, 4.0 gpa, was told by UC Santa Cruz counselor I was a “very strong student.” I’m hopeful…but scared, too, because I haven’t heard anything. Santa Cruz is one of my favorite programs. I guess there’s still a chance for all of us to still hear during April…

Checked my portal Friday night around 11:00 pm and I got accepted!

Hey all,
Taking a break from mid term studying and I just wanted to tell everyone not to be discouraged! Alot of students applied to UCSC and it takes time to make sure everyone gets their acceptances. I hope you all get into UCSC! I just visited the campus some time ago for my interview for the Karl S. Pister scholarship and it looks amazing.

@BoredEngineer when you got in officially, did your UCSC portal say you have a message as well as checking your application status on their website?
There was no message. All I did was check my application part of my portal account
Same here man. 3.8 GPA with all pre-reqs done except for 1 + IGETC certified. Haven’t heard anything. If you get rejected at 4.0 or I get rejected at a 3.8 something is seriously wrong hahaha. I wouldn’t sweat it though.

I have the pre-reqs and one or two strongly recommended classes but they said I was disqualified from TAG because I had been exempted from CSI and placed into CSII at my CC. The Santa Cruz counselor I talked to encouraged me to apply to transfer, anyway, saying that I was a “very strong student.” So we’ll see.
@whatislife5 November 28th, but I don’t think that contributes to when you hear back.
Well I got an email from ucsc that I was admitted, but no message in my portal. Checked the Application section of the portal (drop down menu) and there was the acceptance letter.
