Hang tight everyone! I was getting pretty discouraged myself but good news arrived when I wasn’t looking… I’m a re-entry student, pretty shit GPA tbh, but I got myself back together and wrote stellar personal statements and I guess they decided to take a chance on me

Found out I got rejected as a PolSci major with 3.24 bc they viewed my application wrong!
I’m taking a math course though another institution which is UC certified, not only did i check with my CC, but with all the UC’s that I applied to. UCSC thought it wasn’t a UC approved course.
UCSC urged me to appeal, however, I feel that since my application was viewed incorrectly, I shouldn’t have to appeal. It’s like I’m arguing with them on why I should be accepted, when they did not view my application correctly.
I am going to call the head of the admission office, and I will appeal. I just think it is unfair that I have to go through this process.
Anyone that got rejected, CALL because it may have been a mistake on their end.

@Dancingbaby if you haven’t heard back from SF state you should call them. You need to SIR to there in the next two weeks if you plan on going

I recently received an email asking me to explain how I placed into the Psych 2 class I’m taking this semester. Is it enough of an explanation to simply say that I completed the prerequisite math course during the fall 2016 semester or are they more details I should add?
