@astrophilia @muchConflicted No I haven’t gotten the email and I really am anxious for it. I was also accepted to UNR and I don’t want to go there. I really want to go to UCSC. It has everything I want. So I guess I’d put my life on hold WAIT longer and go there. IM SO GLAD I WASN’T REJECTED.

@muchConflicted @astrophilia yes I got that message too and thats what I’m wondering. I hope I don’t have take anymore classes. I wish they would’ve sent the email at the same time as the decision. Also congratulations to us all! We still have a shot.

Hi guys I also received the message regarding joining in the winter does anyone know if we will be guaranteed admission ? I was also accepted to UCR. I still haven’t received the email about the winter information I’m curious as to how that is going to work.

They will probably have a similar contract to follow like other UC’s once you’ve been admitted. But it doesn’t seem like they’ve sent out any e-mail’s yet about it to confirm anything :\
I’m kind of confused because I have completed all pre reqs and IGETC. I feel they may have admitted too many students, and are now telling the rest to join in January.

Just got in. They’re a little late to the party but I guess I can’t complain. It’s my top choice since SB isn’t an option. If they haven’t released yours, I wouldn’t trip. If I can get in this late in the game, so can other people.
@astrophilia that’s what I figured I’m definitely going to take them up on the offer but I hope we aren’t asked to take too many courses. I know I am missing a few pre-requisites however I had never heard of a college accepting students in the winter hopefully it isn’t too good to be true. I don’t want to go through another application when I have something certain in UCR.

Got in!!! yay wow this took absolutely forever LOL
I got in with 3.0 in Anthropology.
Also got into SJSU and UCSB and waitlisted to UCD and UCI.
I wanna go to UCD but i highly doubt that I will not get off the waitlist. Also not a fan of the SB lifestyle so Ill probably go to sc yee boi.
Congratulations, @stressedkid15 and @HitMyGoal! Don’t get how I got in for winter when I have no more requirements for them that I could take haha.

Yeah I’d probably dorm the first quarter, and I am in state. Still no email 
Should I appeal? There are OOS get in with lower GPA and same major. I just really wanna go, I would even take winter.
My portal was just updated with the message about winter quarter! I wonder if this is a concrete acceptance for winter though?

However, some good news, I called the UCSC admissions representative in my area today and she told me that I would only need to take English 1B before the Winter quarter to be able to enroll then.
She was able to view my application and the notes written on it from the admission officials. The notes on my application said that I would just need to take English 1B at my CC (I have mixed credits from private uni and CC, so not everything articulated exactly).
