@hawaiiangirl I applied lower devision and I have not heard back yet. I looked at their statistics online and it said they had only let in 12 lower devision transfers as of March 15, which I was kind of shocked by. I thought it would be more.
@werealcool which did you choose? my uc app just says “Computer Science”
@Twenmi I am almost 100% sure that ALL Computer Science majors apply for simply computer science for UCSC, but then when they actually enroll in the University, they then choose what path to take (B.A. or B.S.)

So I’m still waiting to here back about my application status, and I’m starting to get worried. I a solid personal statement with about a 3.43, and my IGETC will be completed by the end of spring. Should the fact that I haven’t heard back be a concern?
@cjw4200 i wouldn’t worry too much. it seems like a lot of people haven’t heard back yet (including me). i wish they would be more organized like UCSB or something tho. rolling admission is painful

I haven’t heard back either and I had my TAG for Santa Cruz approved. It’s definitely nerve-wracking, but it does seem like they’re doing it completely random
I have an approved TAG for Business Management- could it be that the rolling basis is combing through students by major? There seems to be a trend in major for those who have already been given their admission status. UCSC is my first choice so I am nervous.
@sleepygirl24 my first choice as well! And I’m not sure…I’ve already seen sociology majors(my major) get their acceptance without having a TAG.
I’m just tryinggg to stay positive lol thought about making a forum for other TAG students in the same boat
