@AyGrey Maybe you should call the office. Last year I have the problem about the prerequisites, they would tell what you are exactly missing.
You know that feeling when you’ve typed a long post but accidently put in one “bad word” so the whole thing is flagged for moderation? Hits ya right in the feels 
Ya it seems kinda odd that multiple people who claimed to have finish all the prereqs got that email… maybe it was a mistake? It would be so much more helpful if they had just told us exactly what we were missing in the email. lol
@dmccccc @nikkitsztsz @lovelei I am almost 100% positive I finished all the prerequisites. I checked assist 1000 times and I got all the classes in there. I even took 1 or 2 extra… Some of the prerequisites, however, I am taking now during the Spring quarter, but to my knowledge it’s okay to have prerequisites during the Spring before transfer. So I have no idea. Perhaps this is some type of error or mistake…You never know. My UCSC Portal hasn’t changed at all so far and it’s been almost an entire day. Can only cross fingers.
For the Comp Sci foundation courses, I got around a 3.1 Major GPA for those 3 courses before the Transfer Academic Update (and including fall 2017 grades), which is what they asked for (they wanted 2.8+) … So I am stumped.
Honestly as much as I would like to call the admissions and see what prerequisites I missed (if this isn’t some kind of mistake), there’s really no point. There is nothing any of us can do if we missed a prerequisite. We can’t go back in time and take it. So honestly… it’s best to avoid the anxiety and not think about it, and just accept what we get.
I might do some kind of Appeal but you can’t do that until the denial appears in your UCSC Portal, and again, mine is unchanged…
If you call them and they tell you what prerequisites you missed, all that will do is stress you out more regarding your other acceptances tbh 
Rejected (didn’t meet the requirements for CS). However, offered me a non-selective major, which is kinda funny.
Sure UCSC, I’ll study a useless major while I am admitted to UCI for Software Engineering! LOL

@CSnerd18 Is it me or did they reject every dang Comp Sci major? I talked to like 5 more who got rejected. No one got in that I know of for that major to UCSC including me. But yeah as you said they offered me to study a non impacted major. What the heck is this. You met the requirements for UCI but not UCSC that makes no sense lol.

@CSNerd18 Same! Offered admissions to a non-impacted major but got my TAG accepted to UCI for Informatics ! I wonder who they did accept …
@AyGrey its ok man. I’m pretty sure there an extra life vests in this boat :’) I spoke to a councelor at my CCC as well and was informed that i was only missing like 1 prereq but still had at least 7 of the prereqs done which is required. I even checked myself. 1 thing i found that’s weird is that since i attended 2 colleges, I sent official transcripts tovthe other school. Some of my CS classes at school 1 didnt articulate but the same class that appears on school 2s transcript DOES articulate. So yeah. I just think my main CC just has a bad articulation councelor…
But anyways. Ill post if I recieve a reply but if I dont recieve a reply by the end of tomorrow, I’ll be calling them on friday about possibly sending syllabuses/syllibi/"whatever the plural is lol

@AyGrey so… I got impatient waiting for an email and just called them right now. Admissions says that they can not release info as to which prereqs we did not complete but that we can email Janet the assistant director of admissions and she MIGHT be able to release that info… so I’m back to waiting. Guess I’ll wait till monday before I send another email if I don’t receive a response. I’d really like to know because on the chance that I dont get into CS anywhere and god forbid spent another year at CC, Id like to atleast know what I could do to make myself eligible for the next year >…>

ucd was my top choice but ive been admitted to ucsc. im just waiting for ucd to say something !! ive been waiting forever [-O< (
. ive been looking into ucsc from the time i got admitted and im just like but what about ucd ughh. the only reason i would choose ucd over ucsc is because of their medical school and they have more medical opportunities to offer. not saying ucsc doesnt but ya know.
