<p>Great chances at UCSC (better than 60% in my view), but only about 40-45% at UC Davis (GPA is a bit low)</p>
<p>UC Davis' average UC GPA (weighted GPA considering a maximum of 4 honors/AP/IB courses) is about 3.87. The average SAT for UC Davis admittees is about 1850, though--so your 1960 may get you in (you are very close to borderline), so make your essays good ones, and maybe take one summer school class that you can get an "A" in for sure, and do some volunteer work over the summer also.</p>
