Hello,
My tag got accepted for UCSC but its conditional. On the response, it says that the Jack Baskin Engineering school will review my TAG application. So does this mean that they will give me another response? If so when?

Does Jack Baskin engineering school look for mainly how much pre req (GE classes?) classes you've taking for consideration when deciding your tag?

By the end of spring quarter, I will have finished everything on assist (majoring in computer science). Does this improve my chances that they will accept my TAG? My GPA is currently around 3.2 (Transferable GPA).

I am excited that my tag got accepted but nervous about the Jack Baskin's reponse.

Another question I have is that, I am planning to apply for UC davis (computer science major). With my current GPA of 3.2, what are my chances? Is computer science at that school an impacted major? I don't have a lot of EC's but I have work experience (kinda relating to my major). And I think my personal statement will be very good too.

OK so for anyone that wants to know the answer to this, I called the rep and asked. The rep said conditionally accept means you are accept, you just have to complete the requirements and you’re in! I also asked about about getting W’s. If you get a W but are still able to complete everything by spring, you are good!

For UCSC engineering you have to complete everything required for your major by the time you transfer. If you haven’t, and you still get in… lemme know! lol they rejected my TAG stating because I would be missing prereqs… no dice.

it good to have so you don’t have to take it there, but the 5 base courses was calc 1,2, discrete math, data structure, java or c++.

Physics series is listed other other classes needed for graduation. Im debating if i should tkae physics so i can be prepare to retake it there since i want have the series complete or an easier one to finish my igetc. I have computer architecture and a few other from there tho
