I got into UCSC for Buss Econ and SDSU for accouting.

1) which is a better school for accouting ?

2)will I be able to fulfill the CPA requirements if I go to UCSC for Buss Econ

3) Which college does Big 4 heavily recruit ?

If you know you want to be an accountant, SDSU is the better choice. They have a true Business program and better weather.

But which would better overall? Would employers choose someone from ucsc or sdsu ?

The Big 4 recruit pretty much everywhere. Both are good programs.

Recruiting:
[Meet the Firms](<a href=“http://careers.ucsc.edu/events/events_archive/mtf2012.html]Meet ”>http://careers.ucsc.edu/events/events_archive/mtf2012.html )
[Charles W. Lamden School of Accountancy : SDSU College of Business Administration](<a href=“http://cbaweb.sdsu.edu/accountancy/employers]Charles ”>http://cbaweb.sdsu.edu/accountancy/employers )

Info on CPA requirement:
[Educational Requirements for CPA Licensure](<a href=“http://economics.ucsc.edu/academics/undergraduate-program/cpa.html]Educational ”>http://economics.ucsc.edu/academics/undergraduate-program/cpa.html )
[Charles W. Lamden School of Accountancy : SDSU College of Business Administration](<a href=“http://cbaweb.sdsu.edu/accountancy/certificate]Charles ”>http://cbaweb.sdsu.edu/accountancy/certificate )

As for better for accounting, I don’t know. I’ll tell you though that it’s unlikely anyone from the Big 4 will be choosing between a SDSU/UCSC student. You’ll likely be recruited for their SF office or something whereas the SDSU student would be recruited for the SD or LA office(although this isn’t written in stone).
