UCSC question

One of the UC schools I'm applying to is UCSC. My intended major was physics, how ever I messed up on my SAT II's and scored a 620 on that subject. Will that seriously hurt my chances?

My SAT's are 2030
Math: 800
Critical Reading: 640
Writing: 590

UC weighted GPA: 4.03

AP Physics Grade: A-/B+

My other SAT II's
US History: 750
Math 2: 710

AP Test Scores
AP US History: 5
AP World: 5
AP Calc BC: 4
AP Physics: 4

This is not my number one school, but I'm seriously considering it if I don't get into my reach schools because I'm in love with the campus. I made a bunch of dumb mistakes before taking my physics subject test, and I'm hoping they would over look that because of my high test scores in math and my above average scores and grades in physics. What do you guys think?

Don't worry.
I'm 100 percent positive you will get in.
I worked in the physics this department this summer as an intern(actually the Santa Cruz Institute for Particle Physics- the particle physics graduate school at UCSC, part of the physics dep't).
You have pretty amazing SAT and SAT II scores and GPA

I wouldn't worry at all if I were you.

Btw, I'm from Santa Cruz too. That campus is absolutely beautiful.
Make sure though if you go, you're liberal. That is a must. Us santa cruzians are very open minded, if you know what i mean.
if you end up going there, I can tell you some cool places to go here in Santa Cruz.
best of luck

ps: where else are you applying?

Thanks for the input. I'm applying to Berkeley, UC Davis, UCSB, Washington University in St. Louis, Macalester, University of Washington, and McGill. I wasn't considering UCSC until I visited. Now, I can really see myself going there.

Your stats are above average for UCSC, don't worry. You'll get in easily.
