Starting a new thread for UCSC SIP program in 2022.
Is there any place to report your stats like high school GPA, SAT score? Are they only looking for your essay and one LOR?

Don’t they ask to send your transcript? Pretty sure GPA’s covered there. I don’t think you can list your SAT however.
do you guys happen to know if sip is harder or easier to get into than cosmos? also which subject areas are yall applying to?
Definitely SIP’s more difficult. I’m applying to Electrical Engineering/Chemistry for SIP

not yet! I think last year they announced that decisions will come out at 5pm!

have they been late before? and if so how late were they
yes I think they were late last yr
i heard they were late last year, some people got their letters the next day.
btw, it is definitely harder. most cosmos students were rejected by sip.
do they ever not send rejection letters
cuz some programs i know only send letters if you got accepted and nothing if you got rejected
do you know if acceptances or rejections came out first

Are any of you able to go to your Iris Registration account that you used to pay the $60 application fee and see the capability to pay a $400 deposit? My account shows that capability. No email yet.

yep i just went to iris and it has a 400 deposit charge added
edit: apparent u can click to see the times that each charge was added and see that the charge for the deposit was added at a specific time this afternoon
