UCSC vs Cal Poly SLO vs Long Beach State

Hello, I’ve been accepted to UCSC, UCR, Cal Poly SLO, SJSU, Sac State, and Long Beach State. I was just rejected from SDSU and I’m waiting to hear back from UC Davis, UCSB, and UCLA. Right now, my dream school is UCSB but in case I don’t get accepted from them, I’m planning to go to UCSC, SLO, or CSULB. I applied for the Philosophy major.

Which school would be better for philosophy?

I want to go to a good law school, so does it matter which university would “look better” (prestige) as an undergrad?

I’ve been to UCSC a few times because it’s a lot closer to me but I’ve never been to SLO nor CSULB.

How would you compare the different social/greek lives of each university?

Thanks!!

to me, SLO - due to the whole college town on the central coast thing… LB is a huge commuter school. UCSC is also a good college environment but the town of Santa Cruz and surrounds is a little more sketch than SLO.
One man’s opinion.

I’d visit SLO ASAP, you’ll see what I mean.

Congrats and good luck.
