UCSC vs. UCR Computer Science

<p>Well, the National Research Council rankings that come out every 15 years have UCR as number 6 in the nation (click ‘computer sciences’ in the subject list, then click the table heading ‘s rank high’ to get the schools to line up by ranking). It has UCSC ranked at 31. However, I have heard that if a program is ABET ranked (which they both are) that is the main thing with CS. Santa Cruz is in Santa Cruz which is absolutely gorgeous if you like redwood forests and charming beach towns. Riverside isn’t. But that isn’t the question you asked…</p>
