messed up the title. I meant UCSC vs. UCSB vs. SFSU

I might major in film or accounting. Right now I dont know where to go and SIRs are due May 1st. I want to go to a school that reflects my major better, but also want to go to a school where I can make friends and have fun. I'm not a rich kid or a hippie. I also cross-posted this in the UCSB forum to get different opinions.

Avoid SF State. Santa Barbara and Santa Cruz are both good choices for film. The social life is comparable. It really depends on what kind of campus environment you want. The UCSB area is flat, flat, flat, with minimal vegetation. The UC Santa Cruz area is hilly, hilly, hilly with lots and lots of trees. Both are close to the ocean and have gorgeous view and sunset opportunities.

UCSC has a great film school! Don't know much about accounting @ either one. But I chose SC over SB(i will probably be a film major) because I love the campus atmosphere, and it seems like there are so many opportunities for film & great profs, etc. SC has a more laid back social life than SB, which seems to have more partying. And, well, it's SoCal.
