<p>my admission is still pending but i had lunch with my counselor today 
and she says that i am guaranteed in no matter what because of my tag, even if ucsd waits until the end if april to tell me.</p>
<p>I have a 3.1 . major sociology. havent heard back. and i dont have a tag. UCSD let in all transfers with a 3.0 and up last fall of 2009. But this year alot of people are applying so idk…</p>

<p>Are you guys transferring from out of state or something? i don’t really understand why you wouldnt TAG if you have a GPA higher than 3.0… it is basically the only requirement besides completing IGETC</p>
<p>I had to take my Math requirement in the Winter session. 
TAG requires it to be done in the Fall.</p>

<p>Reason being I transfered in 1 year. Got out of hihgschool, in CC, took my ENG1a, though, I was unable to tag because of that.</p>
<p>on the admission offer, it said they must receive :Official AP (Advanced Placement) or International Baccalaureate (IB) test results (sent directly from the testing agency).</p>

<p>I heard that last year they accepted everyone over a 3.0gpa. So i assume that they do not look into all of that as much as they look into that if youre going to finish IGETC and all of the other requirements. I say, if you need to appeal, just tell them the same thing, i dont think not taking a english class in time is going to hurt you that much.</p>
