<p>I heard that ucsd uses a numerical formula to determine whether an applicant gets in or not, could someone tell me what the cutoff for the fall 2005 was, and what score to aim for to get in this coming year, fall 2006 for an instater.</p>
<p>fall 2005 was 7460. it always increases year by year. try to get in between 7800-8000 to be safe.</p>
<p>can someone explain where they get this number? (what to add together)
