I heard UCSD doesnt require finished prereqs for admission, as long as you have TAG and IGETC finished. Is this true for Economics majors? I will only have Calc 2 left to finish as far as prereqs go.

Also, would u rather choose to go to UCSD in 2 years or wait another year to apply to UCLA? If this is true about UCSD this will probably be something ill be debating.

erm, first off, you need to take calc 3 unless you’re doing semesters then… i’m not SURE. but i still think you need to take 20C at UCSD. also, you don’t need to have pre-reqs done if you finish IGETC/have TAG.

I can’t stand CC, so I transferred in a year. Also, you should do management science. it’s better than Econ with only two more prereqs

I applied under the Management Science major (similar to Econ) and was accepted with all pre-reqs scheduled to be complete. After my acceptance, I told them I wouldn’t be able to complete 20C at my CC, bc classes were full and hard to get, and they said that it was ok. So I guess the answer is yes. If you can do it, you should try to finish all your pre-reqs though!

I got accepted with only having 1 pre req done for my major (bio) lol good luck!

Oh i do not have tag ! Just igetc will be completed by spring. I am also debating wether to stay back a year to go tag for UCI and finishing all pre reqs at CC first since its easier hahaha :(
