Hello.

I'm in like a really awkward predicament. I'm from San Diego, and I've lived here my whole life and like the only UC's I've gotten into have been UCI and UCSD. I did get into an art school (CalArts) but we might not have enough money to pay for it/my dad is disowning me if I go there (seriously). So if I don't get disowned, I'll most likely go to UCSD. (Whatever, I'm getting disowned).

So I put in Art History as my major and I'm in Muir. How is that program, is it impacted? Also their undergrad Art Practice major, I heard it was terrible, is it?

I'm just really stuck because I hate UCSD's campus (no offense). It's really boring and IMO none of the people are activists enough like at Cal (which I was sadly rejected from).

UCI is worse, so I had to pick the lesser of the 2 evils. Gah. What do you think I should do? Is it possible to be an Art History major and then transfer in 2 years to Berkeley? Has anyone actually done that?

Or does anyone else have advice for me, cus I'm seriously in knots here!

P.S. How intellectual are the professors? Are they likable people?
