You shouldn’t worry about things like this. “Chances” or statistics don’t really mean much. It’s different for everyone, and if the chances are low, it’s kind of late to do something, so you shouldn’t worry. UCSD is a good bio school, but half of the UCs are good for biology, so even if you don’t get UCSD, you can attend one of those. People who are hiring know where the good bio majors come from; don’t worry about prestige or anything. In fact, don’t worry at all though. You’ll get in. I had around 100 hours, I was only an officer for two clubs(not president/vp either), I got a 2020 on SAT and I had no subject tests, and my GPA was 4.1ish/3.6ish, and throughout high school I only took 7 APs(4s and 5s), and I got in. I’m sure you’ll make it.
Don’t forget about personal statements though. Tip: They are about you, not about how much someone else struggled or about what someone else did. Don’t talk too much(barely at all)about how someone inspired you or impacted you or something. It’s about what you’ve done and what you are doing.
Maybe in a year I’ll overhear some freshman retelling their story about how they were asking this question on collegeconfidential, and then I’ll realize it was you(assuming you decide to pick UCSD. You are well rounded, and you could go other places too).
Good luck!

Thank you! Your comment is really encouraging and makes me feel less worried and more confident! Hopefully, ill get in! -thankkks!

I’m trying to get into UCSD too, but another impacted major.

Amen to that^

You can get in. You are well qualified!
When you do get in, choose Muir college!

By the way, the Biology department is not impacted anymore. = ]
I was accepted under a Biochemistry major upon first getting in, and this was when it was impacted ( 2012). Don’t worry, you’ll get into the department you want!~
