<p>Okay, re-screening means that after your first year at UCSD, the BioE department will look at all BioE Premed students, and see if they've achieved a 3.0 GPA (or higher, of course) in the following courses: the Math 20 series, the Physics 2 series, Chem 6A, MAE 9, and one other course that is part of the BioE Premed major. If you're satisfied those requirements, then you officially become a declared BioE Premed major. If you either fall short on the classes or the GPA, then they'll re-screen you again at the end of your second year, and see if you've achieved those requirements.</p>
<p>These do not apply to BioE or BioE: Biotech majors, since they were already screened during the Admissions process.</p>
