Hello!

I was wondering what the UCSD Blue + Gold Opportunity Plan was?

I got this message:

"You appear to be UC Blue & Gold eligible based upon the income and residency information provided on your FAFSA. This Financial Aid Estimate indicates that your Blue & Gold eligibility is being met with the grant/scholarship awards on this estimate which will cover your UC Systemwide tuition/fees, currently estimated to be $XX,XXX."

Is it talking about Cal Grant? It is saying its estimated to be the exact amount as my Cal Grant.

Does anyone know what this is? Thanks.

Lots of info about this on the UC webpage.

Thanks! I just looked at it however I still have some questions. Is this saying that its going to cover ALL my costs? It sounds a little too good to be true…

Blue & Gold covers the difference between tuition and fees, and your other aid. So it guarantees that your tuition and & fees will be covered. If your other aid covers all tuition and fees, Blue & Gold won’t give you anything.

Awesome! Thanks for the info, man!

I have a question about this as well. It says it covers all “systemwide fees” but what does that mean exactly? I assume tuition but what about room and board? Books?

I am pretty sure it covers the “Tuition and fees” line here:
