When exactly are all the major breaks? I'm guessing the main ones are thanksgiving, winter, and spring-- can anyone give me their exact dates please?

I looked at the UCSD calendar, but it only listed events 8( thanks!

ooo useful info. thanks eltagra

thanks for your replies!

@eltagra yea I saw that but I remember a while back, someone was asking about winter break and others dismissed that calendar as for staff only? idkk

anyway, does anyone know when spring break is?

its in between winter/spring quarters, so march 19-24

@pinkberry It goes for the students, too. Maybe what the other people meant is that even though the quarters end on specified dates, your break actually starts after your last final.

so spring break, which coincides with the end of winter quarter, is only one week? and the dorms shut down/lock up for this whole week?

^Yes. 10char

thanks for all your help guys! now I know when to book plane tickets home :D

Do you have to move all your stuff back home during breaks or can you just leave it in your dorm?

^You can leave it in your dorm.
