UCSD: Chance Me? PLEASE?

<p>Hey, so I really want to get accepted into UCSD (I also applied for UCLA, UC Davis, and UC Irvine) and was wondering if someone could chance me? See if I have even a tiny shot >.< I already turned in my UC application, here are my stats:</p>

<p>Asian, CALIFORNIA RESIDENT</p>

<p>UC GPA: 4.36
UW GPA: 4.00
School Ranking (unweighted): 1 out of 491
ELC eligible</p>

<p>SAT 1: 2130 (670R-690M-770W)
SAT 2:
Math II - 740
Bio E - 730
World History - 730</p>

<p>AP Classes:
AP World History (5), Biology (5), US History (5), English Lit (4), Calc AB (5)
** planning to take Environmental Science, English Lang, Econ, Gov, and Calc BC in May</p>

<p>EC (weak) :/
- 175 volunteer hours at hospital in the Alzheimer's Unit
- Summer Leaders-in-training program --> volunteering at city hall (finance dept)
- 130 volunteer hours at pharmacy
- 180 volunteer hours at childrens dept of library
- 135 hours of unpaid tutoring at school</p>

<p>4 years of science club
Participation in Afghanistan writing project (penpal) - 11th & 12th grade
11th & 12th grade - Interact club --> treasurer
Business manager of School newspaper
Outside art lessons since 10 years old, except for 12th grade</p>

<p>Additional EC:
NHS, CSF, Science Bowl Alternate member, etc</p>

<p>Personal statements were decent... talked about 1. disability (and overcoming said handicap) & 2. volunteer experience</p>

<p>Don’t worry, you’ll get in.
but if UCSD happens to reject you in March then it means you are too good for it and UCSD expects you to get into a more prestigious school so it ends up rejecting you to save some room for others who are more likely to SIR to UCSD.</p>
