<p>ive been accepted into revelle but id like to switch to muir. how do i do this? i have to do my housing soon but i dont know how i am suppose to figure this out. do i call ucsd and ask them? how long will it take?

<p>I believe you have to wait a year to switch. I am in revelle, and it really isnt that bad. it sucks for me cus i came into school with NOTHING to cover any of my GE requirements, and I am strugglying to finish them all. I am HORRIBLE at math and I curse revelle for making me take it, if i were in any other college i would only need one course, but stupid revelle makes me take all three and i cant pass the first one! Anyhoo, most of my friends had most of their GEs taken care of. I think you have to wait a year and have the writing program (which is 5 quarters of HUM) finished.</p>
<p>If you have AP scores or took classes at a CC to transfer over, i really wouldnt stress about it. :) And i am sure you heard the food and housing sucks blah blah blah. In all honsty, I love how Revelle is set up. Our rooms are HUGE, and its in a suite style as opposed to dorms. Also, the revelle apartments are just about the nicest ones on campus. And the food isnt bad. And if you really hate it, you can go to the other cafeterias. </p>
<p>I would say give Revelle a chance, and if you are really not a math or science person and cant pass the math and science classes and dont even NEED them for your major, then maybe consider switching. But like I said, you have to wait atleast a year. </p>
