Hey guys..
Im a community college student transferring out this fall. Ive been accepted to UCSD, CMC, and UCLA for the majors of physiology and neuroscience, molecular cell developmental biology, and neuroscience respectively.

I dont know where to go.. I've visited all schools multiple times. UCLA offers a great name, but I think its' bio programs are on par with UCSDs. In fact, I think there are more opportunities to be exposed to research and the practice of medicine at UCSD.

Claremont McKenna is a very small liberal arts school that yields about 1300 students. Its a REALLY PRESTIGIOUS private school. but not really for pre med (only Econ). class sizes are extremely small and the environment cant get any better for studying and exploring yourself as a person. Theres a lot of diversity here. I dont think there is nearly as much access to research and medicinal opportunities than at the uc's.

As for money, UCSD has given me a near full tuition through reagents, financial aid, and more aid ( because I came my background comes from low income). CMC is extremely generous with financial aid and gives me about 45,000 for their 50,000 dollar tuition. UCLA offers just the normal financial aid.

Based on my visits, I feel like UCLA is too crowded for me. Although I took a class here and the competitiveness was just right. I have many friends here and I do like the social scene. UCSD is really nice. The environment..the beaches. the weather. I think the ambience would make me enjoy studying. Whoever said its socially dead is wrong! but Im not sure its my full potential. CMC is AMAZING AS WELL in every way. except the fact that it just doesn't allow me to fully immerse myself.

I cant decide. these schools are all great to me. What do you guys think?
