Why I got in-The two greatest essays i have ever written in my life thats what they told me when the lady from the admissions office called she told me that those were some of the best essays she read all year and that was the major reason why i got accepted so if you suck at sat’s like me get your essay right iam still amazed maybe ill get into Berkeley too(fingers crossed).

The decisions are out already? Hm?

They come out tommorrow i think but they called me that’s how i know!

[ size=+2][ color=green][ b]Decision: Accepted[ /b][ /color][ /size]

4.25 UC GPA
1500 SAT score
2 varsity sports
Major: Economics
3 of some of the best essays i ever wrote.

^Thats 1500/1600 right?

No dude i was serious about 1500 out of 2400. I got 500 in each section haha

Anyone else getting redirected to a site about “blink” when you try to sign into the ucsd single signon page? Started happening today, wasn’t like this before

Yes ^ 10char

It says I’m logged in as “student” … very interesting as I haven’t been accept or denied as a student yet…

^whereeeee?

If the decisions do indeed come out “mid day”, then we only have another hour to go at best!! :D

Refresh. Nothing. Refresh. Nothing. Refresh. You have been logged out…I think I am going to go eat a bagel. :] Hopefully we get in!

Well its midday pacific im sure so probably more like 3 hours.

Hey–it just changed. Now the login goes not to ‘Applicant Status’ like earlier this morning. It redirects to ‘Blink’-- a site for UCSD ‘Faculty and Students.’

Does this mean anything???

The Blink site says: “The Link family is an integrated Web-based environment that provides authorized UCSD students, faculty, and staff with consistent and easy-to-use access to administrative information.”

???

And to the person who asked me where, I had the login for the admissions portal bookmarked and when I logged in there it sent me to the Blink page.
