UCSD Class of 2017: Roosevelt college

Hey! I saw the thread for Muir and though that I would start one for ERC.

I was accepted in for bioengineering, Roosevelt wasn't my first choice because of my major but I am excited to be living there next year!

Anyone else accepted and planning to live in ERC?

I look forward to hearing from you and hopefully meeting you in the fall!

I am going to be living in ERC :slight_smile:
I’m a physiology and nueroscience major. I’m a bit nervous about the making of the modern world requirement, but overall I’m excited about my college. International understanding is a theme I’m definitely interested in.
Plus, bonus, I think our dorms are decently nice? And it’s pretty cool to have all of the international students nearby. Fall can’t come fast enough.

I’m in ERC as well. We should make a facebook group for all the ERC 2017 kids. I’m so pumped to meet you all. I’m a human bio major and MMW actually seems interesting.

I’m debating between UCI and UCSD, but if I end up choosing SD, I’ll be at ERC too!
I’m also a physiology & neuroscience major, and like @Erika95, MMW is intimidating me since I’m not a big fan of writing. Anyways, hopefully I get to meet you all!

Biological Science majors! woohoo!

And @Sharonnn, good luck with your decision, you’ve got two great schools there. I also got in to UCI, but I live basically RIGHT next to Irvine, so it’s kind of lost it’s charm for me. I want to actually go AWAY to college, lol. But anyway, best of luck, I’m sure you can guess which college I’m rooting for you to pick (;

I’m in ERC psychology, but have to make the final decision after Apr.1st…

Thanks @Erika95 :slight_smile:
And also, are you worried at all about having physiology at ERC and the extra Ge’s?
I dont have that many AP credits and I feel like I won’t graduate on time because of the Ge’s

Hey guys, I also got accepted at Roosevelt, am from france btw. Any other international students here?

@Sharonnn, I’m a little worried, but I know myself, and my limits, and after looking at a rough four year plan for physiology majors in ERC (from 2012, they haven’t posted a four year plan yet for us) it seems manageable. Three to four classes a quarter, and plenty of science to mitigate all of the humanities GE’s. It will NOT be easy, but it’s not too bad either. I think I will love UCSD, so for me a bit of extra writing in MMW will be worth it.

@Groovyhamster, that is so cool.

How many of you guys are going to Triton Day or applied for the overnight program? :D

I am going to triton day!

I thought that the triton overnight program was only for regents scholars?
Can any accepted student register for it?

Hi everyone!
I was accepted into UCSD as a music major (focus in composition). No idea where I’m going for sure this fall, but if I go to UCSD I’ll be in ERC! Probably going to Triton Day, too :)

I was accepted for Biochemistry. I’m going to Triton day too. Hope to see you guys there!
@kansastocali:
I agree, someone should make a fb page. I’m excited to meet you guys. (:

Yo! I also got into Physiology and Neuroscience major and will be living on campus :DDDDD!! I hope I get to see you guys on Triton day!

Hope you guys join!

Anyone here for major in bioengineering?
