General Comments:
I’m actually insanely glad that I was accepted! I wasn’t sure that I would be, given my SAT score and lack of AP/Honors courses (although that was due to the fact that my private school didn’t offer them). Waiting to hear back from UCLA this Friday-- If I am rejected, I will 99% be attending UCSD.

General Comments: Will be attending Univ of Washington or UCSB,UCD or CAL POLY SLO where I already Accepted instead. Good luck to those who haven’t received a decision yet and congrats to those accepted.
UCSD was the High Wall to me can’t overcome. Before the reject of UCSD I was a big Star who passed all of the Univs

How do you calculate UC GPA

Got in! :smiley: …but in actuality, how hard is it to get into UCSD? I’m curious cause I did apply to UCLA and UCB as well and was wondering kinda where I stand considering those colleges.

@bkybub: I’m in the same situation as you. As far as I know, UCLA is approximately twice as hard to get into as UCSD and UCB is slightly harder than UCLA. And I initially thought that UCSD was hard to get into (with a 35% acceptance rate in 2012) but everyone I know of who applied to UCSD got in, some with even worse stats than mine. So idk, I’m pretty sure schools don’t show favoritism towards students in a particular school but maybe UCSD got slightly easier this year?

@Korean101 haha I’m Korean too.
However, I don’t see how it can be a case of school favoritism for me, bc I am technically considered international.
I filled out several college profiles to sort of compare my chances with these two schools, and it says I have a better chance at Berkeley…
It’s so hard to be optimistic…considering how many qualified students there are…
