@chantal225 I’m sorry, it was never my intention to sound rude… I apologize for the misunderstanding.
Above a 3.0 is the general rule @Perseveretillend for most major universities. Not 100% sure for UCSD though
Yeahh I got into Davis yesterday but my friend who did really well got rejected…
@jackisawesome I thought a C would be considered detrimental? Would students get revoked if they had like one or two Cs?
@dwag619. I do not think it should be an issue as long as you contact them now before final transcripts are due.
@Perseveretillend A 3.0 Weighted GPA throughout Senior Year with no D’s or F’s. I think that means you can get mostly Bs and Cs if you’re taking Honors/AP classes.
@jackisawesome Is the 3.0 rule for weighted or unweighted gpa?
@Perseveretillend All you need is straight C’s, just no D’s or F’s, from my understanding.
@jackisawesome Your Welcome!! It’s ok lol I don’t need a present. I hope the decisions come out at 3 and everyone gets accepted. Best of luck everyone
@Dawg619 and @Perseveretillend: the provisional admission contract should be spelled out somewhere on your portal. In the past, you needed to maintain a 3.0 weighted GPA with no D’s or F’s senior year.
UCLA/UCB required no more than 2 C’s and an unweighted GPA of 3.0.
@Dawg619 Straight Cs only if you’re taking classes that are worth 5 GPA points each.
So I ended with 4.4 GPA last semester, so if I do a bit worse than that will I be fine from like prestigious universities such as Emory, Dartmouth, UCB, UCLA, USC, NYU??? I’m so nervous about end results right now… >.<
@Perseveretillend Nope. If Harvard allows a 3.0, then I am 99% sure UCSD would lol
No idea about private universities, just UCs. UCLA/UCB require 3.0 UW minimum, the rest require 3.0 Weighted minimum.
@unconfidentially weighted (also no Ds or Fs) ps I love your username (the katy perry reference is real)
3 PM…admissions pls?
ikr!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!? I am so worried that it won’t be out @thejappster
@thejappster @jackisawesome Do some yoga and relaaax
Got an email today that told me my portal had been updated and was so happy that I was accepted. Sadly, I did not get into mechanical engineering(first choice major) and am Undeclared, but I did get into my #1 college, Muir
@FallenAngel58 Congratz! Hey, it’s better than nothing. ;))
