UCI or Davis ?
@DirtyDonut UCI
3:00 and nothing…
I’m guessing we will not hear back until Friday.
UCs love to tease us :’( such heartbreakers hahaha
I heard back on the 13th, it appears they are sending out in waves. Im out of state and was accepted
idk tho
Friday is the day for UCLA and I think having the two together could be detrimental to yield; I would assume UCSD would do from today to Thursday. Friday is a possibility tho
Friday or never is my opinion
and my never I mean March 30
I’m sure they are getting tons of emails/phone calls but is it THAT hard to give us an answer. like are they still making decisions or wHAT??!! At this point, I have lost my last oz. of getting in. I just need closure on this so i can move on with my life:/
@sarale judging by how long they are taking, they are no doubt still making decisions. Keep up hope, you maybe be really happy 15 days from now xx
Has UCSD sent rejection letters tho?
@acceptmepls0 yup! people have said they know people who got waitlisted/rejected, i know someone too who got rejected!
In another thread someone said something about a reception on March 24th.
I can’t handle this stress
they’re probably stressing y’all out on purpose to help prepare you for UCSD life
@DoctorP In that case, I’ll die before even going to UCSD lol
I’ll be lucky if I don’t have heart disease by the end of this :-S stressing out like crazy! ucsd please accept me 8->
UCSD really dissapoints me with their whole admissions schedule. Are they TRYING to give us all heart attacks?
@DoctorP I don’t think any college would do that. Additionally, I don’t see how aggravating the nerves of many serves the purpose of preparing people for a busy school life. If UCSD wanted to do that, than like any other university, it would accept kids who took challenging courses (which they already do).
I honestly think that it was an error in judgment. They probably thought they would be done, but realize that there was no way to accommodate an additional 8,000 applicants with a decision by the 11th. Thus they released for some, but still have more left.
Honestly, at first I was furious and was passionately against the university’s move. However, I think that I was simply over-exaggerating the situation and listening to numerous false rumors, which provoked my emotions into a state of turmoil. As applicants to a university that we love, regardless of this waiting game, we should try to be assertive, yet not disrespectful, when commenting on the current situation. I get that many of you are anxious, and I am too, but we need to keep composure.
Truly awesome attitude Jack! I continue to keep fingers crossed for you! @jackisawesome
