Hi, I’ve been ghosting this thread for a bit (but havent gone thru all 45 pages) but since notifications are coming out, let me finally participate.
I’ve heard some of my friends got accepted today via phone call, but they all applied under various majors Bio, Psychology, Physics. I know I have higher stats than them (which I say in a non-cocky way), but their last names are before mine (C, F, for example vs mine, R), and I applied under mechanical engineering…
Do you guys know if its alphabetical, by major, or any of that… 
I’m out here getting concerned.

From what I’ve gathered so far, it looks like certain callers are assigned certain last name ranges (ex. all the C last names are assigned to a caller), so it’s likely that clusters of people with same-letter last names will be called at once. However, individual callers don’t seem to have any order, so in the big picture I don’t think it’s alphabetical or by major. Someone mentioned earlier that it doesn’t look like it’s by stats, either, so I think we’ll just have to cross our fingers and wait for it
@voltthorn last year it looks like they were sent out in waves–the first wave was mostly acceptances and then that was followed by rejects/waitlists

Hello im a long time lurker of this forum but just wanted to say that I got a call last night at about 8 o clock. I was admitted under Political Science-American Politics. Unlike everyone else though my phone call read as an unknown number. Im from LA and my last name starts with an L. I was also invited to their overnight program. I asked them if I could check this on my portal and they said it wouldn’t be available until the rest of the decisions were out. Also they mentioned to me that it was only a certain amount of applicants that were getting phone calls. So I would say that if you don’t get a phone call you shouldn’t over stress???
Oh and I was accepted into Muir if that is helpful in any way

I just got a call and I was accepted 
I forgot to ask what major/college (oops) but I applied to Warren as my first and Marshall as my second with the major Physics with Specialization in Astrophysics and no alternate.
