Just to make this clear, not everyone accepted will get a phone call correct? Some people will find out their acceptanc on the official release date through the portal?

@yourguardian Yes, that’s right. Most of the accepted people will find out through the portal on the regular decision day, which we are all hoping is this Friday.

3.94/4.74 and 4.4 UC Weighted and Capped GPA. 2240.
750 SAT II Chem, 750 SAT 2 USH, 750 Spanish. 800 Math Level 2.
General Bio for first choice, Human Biology for second. I know bio is impacted at SD.
Accepted at Berkeley (no Regents), CHP/Regents at Irvine and UCSB Regents, but no UCSD tour invite, call or reception invite.
My family’s very poor, so if I don’t get Regents at UCSD is out of the running, and it’s my first choice.
Should I be concerned? I know every campus is different so does UCSD just not consider me a “top applicant?” I know stats aren’t everything.
Got a call at about 6:00 pm PST today that I was accepted. I think I will still plan to go to the reception to get more info. I didn’t think to ask what college I got into, but here are my stats again:

UC GPA capped at 4.2, Weighted GPA 4.45

I got a call at around 8:00 PM PST notifying me that I had been accepted into the Jacobs School of Engineering for undergraduate study in Computer Science! I’m pretty excited because this is the first school that has accepted me
Anyone recieve a reception invite but no call yet?
