Hi everyone! If you don’t get an email for the invite thing or get a call is it more likely that you will be waitlisted or rejected? I’m so confused about this process.
@Foodlover228579 not necessarily! Supposedly they only call the top 30% of admits and underrepresented minorities, so that still leaves around 70% of admits that they don’t call.
All it means is that you might have to just wait till the portal updates. 
@soniked19 It’s very likely that you were accepted!! Have you tried to call back? What are your stats/major/residential college of choice?

D called for Regents around 7:30 pm in Norcal. Env Sc major, Muir College. 4.0 UW GPA, 2370 old SAT.
I got regents for UCSB and UCI but haven’t got a call from UCSD yet. Does this mean I am not getting UCSD regents or is it possible to get regents without a call?
@wazza7 You can get regents without a call!! There have been many instances in past years where people get regents through the portal instead of a call. :)>-
I hope that’s true. I don’t currently live in the states, so they’ll never call me, haha.
@wazza7 I think it’s possible; in the 2020 thread, there were people who got Regents without a call. I think the campaign does target Regents candidates but also gives priority to URM’s and first-gen college students. Stay hopeful haha we’re in the same situation actually!
@Ramenous I was so excited when I saw the area code that I messaged back immediately… at 1 AM. I haven’t gotten any reply. 1530 New SAT/ 750 Math 2/ 3.96 UW GPA/ 4.19 UC GPA. First generation and URM. Mechanical Engineering. Warren.
Do they call everyone within the top 30% of admits? I haven’t received a call, but I received UCSB and UCI Regents so I’m guessing I’m in the top percentile… hopefully lol
Also, did anyone receive a call for economics? I’ve seen mostly engineering/science majors in this thread.
Okay…so I don’t know if this means anything, but my curiosity got the best of me. I have complete access to TritonLink and can do basically everything except enroll in classes. I can go through all of the menus, and it even lists student: My Name on several pages. Anyone else wanna try lol? Haven’t heard anything.

Alright, I am able to log into My TritonLink.
Interestingly, under the Personal Tools tab, there is a link that says ‘Addresses’. Once the page loads, there is a page that says ‘Campus E-mail Address’. Here’s what it says:
Your UCSD E-mail address is: XXXXXXXX@ucsd.edu
You can give this address to family, friends and associates. Official campus E-mail will also be sent to this address. You will be responsible for all such notices.
E-mail sent to your UCSD address is delivered to a destination address (mailbox) on a specific mail server. You need to know which mail server to contact to pick-up your messages.
Also I just wanted to say, good luck to everyone! I know this is a really stressful time, and I just wanted to add something positive on here. Don’t stress too much guys! If you get accepted thats great, if not it’s not the end of the world. I know each and every one of you are going to do something great with your lives no matter where you go! <3
