@YellowTiger When I log in to the portal & click “Next” under the acceptance letter, then “My Financial Aid Estimate” under the steps to commit, it shows a short congratulatory message for Regents. If it’s the same for you, you’ve definitely got the scholarship!!
You could also check if you got an email for the Regents Overnight Stay Program, which I received at 5:47PM PST. I’m assuming they sent this email to all Regents scholars at around the same time, but I’m not totally sure.

@BunnyBlue - your son’s stats are awesome, very odd that he got in as Undeclared! DD also got in as Undeclared (CSE/CS were her choices) and she has good stats (1490 new SAT, 4.15 UC GPA) but not as great as yours. Are you planning to appeal? DD might decline esp if getting into CS at UCSD is via lottery.
Further confirmation that the housing trick doesn’t work: even after admittance, the email that shows up for me looks like a generic auto-generated one (first initial + last name + three random numbers). Not a more personalized one (first initial + middle initial + last name) like some people have
Also, I received Regents without getting a phone call during the Early Calling Campaign. I didn’t get invited to a regional reception either, but that could be because I don’t live in any of the areas with receptions (despite living in SoCal). All in all, future applicants shouldn’t lose hope if they don’t receive these indications
