Re. Athletic Division 2 vs. the news that UCSD wants to switch up to Division 1 athletics: I searched up a news article, and it sounded as though this might not yet occur in time for next fall (yeah!) due to possibly awaiting/budgeting the large sum of money needed for the change, getting let into Big West Conf., and also a student vote re. fee increases that would occur, if the switch happens. But I don’t know … does anyone here know if/when the Division 1 change is going to occur in time for next fall??? (I hope not …cause I want to go to try-outs as a Div. 2 … but I know, its good for school spirit so most do want this.) Anyone know when??

Well for UCSB I was invited to a chancellor’s reception and they told us that all attendees were accepted (my portal isn’t updated yet) and for Stanford I applied EA. Sorry for the late response.
@BoredEngineer yes! I got accepted last Saturday. But I was told that I got my acceptance pretty early, its supposed to come out closer towards April. Don’t be nervous!

I am an admitted student to UCSD as undeclared. What do I need to change my major into Neuroscience or Biochemistry? Also, if there is an available space, can I talk with the UCSD admissions and change my major now? Or do I need to wait for one year to be able to get in that major?

It’s a pretty thin package with your certificate of admission, a letter, a housing brochure, and a pamphlet about Triton Day with a wristband attached
Also the envelope has tear and fold lines that you can make into a Triton Crown!
my friend got a package in the mail today but I didn’t. Do they only give the formal package to certain admits?
The package is mailed, so it probably is taking time to get to some people depending on the mail route in hour area.
I was called and haven’t received anything in the mail yet! Bay Area.
