@gureum I’m pretty sure all admits get the package! Yours might just be taking longer because of the postal service. (I always get things in the mail 1-3 days after my friends who live in the same city, for instance.)
does anyone know what kind of applicants receive the LA/Bay Area Special Invite? Is it all admits in the area?

@JuicyMango Oops. I thought that was weighted. My bad. Unweighted is: 4.0. And by born in civil war, in one of my essays I talked about the Sri Lankan Civil War and immigrating to America for a better life.

I believe the decision to move to D1 has already been voted on and passed. There is an article on ucsdtritons.com released 5/24/16. Student fees should go up in 2017-2018 school year to support this. Also, I looked at the NCAA site for a few sports and they list UCSD sports as D1.
I got rejected.
3.83 UC GPA; 1090 New SAT; 23 ACT.
It’s fine tho, UCSD is too foreign and the weather is too hot for me.
