UCSD Class of 2023

While we wait, how did everyone rank the colleges? I’ll go first. 1. Muir, 6. Sixth. 2-5 - don’t care.

Also chose Muir at #1 @Penned23

  1. Revelle 6. Eleanor Roosevelt

Don’t worry about it listing the file path because it was originally on my desktop. You won’t be able to remotely control my computer this way, but it should link to a png file and open the screenshot in a new tab.

I put 6th first because I knew that most people wouldn’t want it so I kinda was hoping that would help me get in lol

More information regarding the Early Calling Campaign:
You may get the call in the evening from a current UCSD staff or faculty member (858 area code). There is no need to be alarmed if you miss the call (someone will call back; missing the calls will not affect your admission offer). If you do not receive a call during the Early Calling Campaign, you may receive a call later, after admission decisions are released, from current UCSD students to invite you to Triton Day and campus overnight programs, or later still from UCSD alumni to share their Triton experiences.

I mean, we all know its coming out friday. (Also, your screenshot cant be shared like that, it must be from a site like imgur)

OHHH NOO I didn’t pick up a call from an 858 number because I thought it would be spam… what do I do WTH!!

@tomasivan: Read post #527 again. They will call back.

i declined two 858 calls from the same number last week because i thought they were spam is there any way they’ll call again

does anyone know what time decisions will come out on friday?

Most likely 3pm PST, followed by UCLA at 5pm PST. •(:watch:_:watch:)•

one of my daughter friends heard over the weekend from UCSD she got rejected… she checked her portal… so did they already send rejections?

I don’t think they release rejections early do they?

She probably got things mixed up with SDSU or USD. No rejections until Friday…

Hoping i get in but just got waitlisted at UCSB

@liaaa Don’t pre-stress. A few years ago our grandson applied to UC Davis, UC Berkeley, UC Santa Cruz and UC San Diego. He only got accepted to UC San Diego out of the four, not even wait-listed at the others. He graduated from UCSD (Sixth College) last year. Not getting into Davis doesn’t mean you are out of the running.
Best wishes in your selection process as decisions come through

@UVaWiseGuy thank you so much for your positive reply!!! Ty;)

@liaaa I am going to second what UVaWiseGuy says. It’s a crapshoot. Because you get rejected by one or waitlisted isn’t a valid interpation of what will happen with another school. My D got rejected by Davis, SDSU (her dream school) UCSB but got into UC Santa Cruz. She also got two out-of-state acceptances that were really good. We’re waiting on UCSD Friday. When asked about UCSB she wasn’t upset because she had gotten UC Santa Cruz and her objective was one of her UC’s. The school helps with the experience but regardless of where your child ends up they will ultimately make the Experience their own. Oh, I forgot waitlisted at CSULB… SO we too are trying to learn from this experience for our next child. No Rhyme or Reason to this madness…

@Vibes4me ty so much for the kind reply! It really helps^_^
