Ok say i got a B- in a class at a community college that i am taking to be exempt from a required class. (btw does C at community college count for credit in a math class at ucsd?)

Is this included in my UCSD gpa? or do i just get credit for taking it and get to go to the next level class but it doesn't count as a grade, like its pass/no pass.

also, if it is not factored into my UCSD gpa, will grad schools see what i got as a grade. what if the grad school im going to is also UCSD.

It is not counted in your UCSD GPA. It will show up as credit earned only. It is however counted by grad schools. They will require a transcript from every school you have attended and will recalculate your GPA to include all college transcripts. If the courses are outside of your major area I wouldn't fret about it.
