Now have to decide between UCSD, USC, and Cal Poly for computer science. How large are the UCSD computer science classes?
Are they all taught by graduate studnets?
How big are the beginning Mat 20A, B, C, D and Physics 2a 2b classes? Are they taught mostly by graduate students?
Anyone know how many computer science undergrads there are? I can't find it on the website.
What are the rules for AP credit? It looks like at USC you get about 4 semester hours for each test you had a 3,4,or 5 on?

Every week, there are three one-hour lectures taught by a professor. The classes size is probably around 100 students. In math, there's a one-hour discussion section where 5-30 students review the material and homework with a graduate student TA. In physics, there are usually two sessions - one discussion section where a grad TA lectures over the same material again and one problem-solving section where the TA goes over examples. The physics sections are for the whole class, and not small sections like for math.
