UCSD decisions are out Fall 2009

Got in today as well. I had a 3.86 in poli sci. Odd thing is that I got into Eleanor Roosevelt which I had ranked 4th. Oh well, beats Revelle which I had originally ranked 1 to my regret.

ERC has extra GE requirements as well (beyond IGETC) you should check what they are I still think they’re easier than Revelle’s though.

Got in for economics. 3.68 missing calc 3

got in also for economics. ~3.6 missing 3 math courses  tehehe

ps, how horrible would it be if UCSD said they made another mistake and that none of us were accepted?

i just thought about that and my blood started boiling! haha!!

Still pending for me :(

Get in!!! 3.44 GPA major in Biochemistry and Cell Biology.
now I am looking forward to the UCB decision!

did all of you have the updated message?

Grats loller, will you cancel that SDSU appeal now :stuck_out_tongue: Can’t believe you appealed that decision after getting into UCI or UCSB before -.-.

darkwind- congrats! I have a 3.4 and applied for Bio also. But still waiting…Did you get a lot of your prerequs done? It seems impossible to do all 12 of the prerequs while still staying under the unit limit!

I got the updated message for housing a few days before getting accepted today.

I don’t know about everyone else though.

Im so happy for all who got in i know youve worked hard and so i congradulate you… unfortunately i didnt get that lovely message today… : ( … how ever i know there is at least one more release scheduled… so you never know…

I really hope I don’t have to wait all the way till the end of April, that would just be murder!

I got in today. I have a 4.0 and am an Econ major. My housing message had also changed to the new one in the last week. Just thought posting this might be helpful if anyone wants to extrapolate.

I’d just like to show off how poor I am to have gotten the most possible grant:

Pell Grant $5,350
Possible Cal Grant A + $7,788
National SMART Grant + $4,000
UCSD Grant + $2,447
Other Outside Aid + $0

Total Gift Aid = $19,585
Total Net Cost = $5,400

Accepted.

Major: Math/Econ
School: Thurgood Marshall
Overall GPA: 3.8
Transferable GPA: 3.77
Missing one pre-req.

Although I’m still waiting for LA…
My original rankings did not reflect what I really wanted. I think it’s really good I got Marshall. I do plan to go into law and I wrote about how I want to give back to my community. UCSD picked the right college for me, I really didn’t have a good understanding of the schools when I was applying.

Congrats to everyone!^^;;

Hey got in today too! Although I’ve discovered I ranked Revelle as my number one but would actually like a different college. The site says only way to transfer colleges is if an admit from another college agrees to switch with you. Know its not a huge deal but if anyones interested holla back with your college youd like to switch. And CONGRATS!

Im in baby!!
Thurgood Marshall
3.7 gpa
Econ major
missing all 3 calc classes

Haha dude everyone with the housing glitch got in. I guess UCSD was ********ting people when they told em it was a glitch that had nothing to do with decisions? Or perhaps it’s a huge coincidence?
